So, who’s Amy? Some have wondered if the song is a wink and a nod to one of the main characters in “Gone Girl,” Amy, who was played by Rosamund Pike.
The song also repurposes O.T. Genasis’ “CoCo” for a bit.
“I’m in love with that h— though,” he adds on the track. “Even though she’s loco / That p—y got me bozo.”
Perhaps this song was meant to be for Sorry 4 The Wait 2? Maybe that would explain why Weezy continues to apologize “for the wait” near the end of the track.
